Throughout the program, it is essential that foods containing gluten, yeast and sugar are not consumed as these feed pathogenic microorganisms. No alcohol or caffeine is to be consumed at all during the program. In preparation, it is best to fast for a day before beginning. Exclude all food and beverages except water, vegetable juices and broths. If a total fast is not possible, steamed vegetables is the best option. Alternatively, a bowel purge may be recommended before beginning as it improves the detoxification process. This is achieved via Colon Cleanse or otherwise 200ml Aloe Vera juice before bed. Expect a few watery bowel movements the next morning. Eat light, fresh foods such as steamed fish or homemade soup the next day.
